THE CONCEPT

WIN - Taste of Bali was initiated by Robert Manan, a culinary, coffee, and craft enthusiast. Taking inspiration from the rich culture and taste of the 17.000 islands of Indonesia, WIN reflects the long history of spice routes from Indonesia to the Netherlands and to the world. 

At WIN, husband and wife Robert and Fify Manan share their love for the history, culture, food, and ultimately our Wonderful Indonesia and The Netherlands which shape the concept of WIN - Taste of Bali in showcasing the truest forms of cuisine, coffee, drinks and culture from the two countries.

Our menu is mastered by Chef Agus Hermawan, the ambassador of Indonesian cuisine for The Netherlands and Europe by the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia. Under ambassador Chef Agus’ close watch and supervision from Hans Manan, food scientist, our chefs elevate traditional Indonesian and colonial Dutch cuisine into modern Gastrobar delicacies, ranging from our iconic tapas style small plates to our signature best ribs in town and world’s famous Dutch - Indonesian Rijsttafel (rice table).  

While you’re here, don’t forget to dip into some of our homemade selection of sambals as Indonesia is known as the sambal nation (world’s richest in chilli paste!), whether you like it mild, medium, or flaming hot.
